 Wipro Aerospace USA is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planning & Systems Analyst to support advanced production planning, capacity alignment, and system optimization within a high-mix aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leveraging production and system data to drive improved delivery performance, maximize throughput, and enhance overall operational efficiency. 

Serving as a key analytical partner to operations, this role extends beyond traditional scheduling by integrating advanced analytics, ERP system expertise, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will proactively identify risks and constraints, optimize resource utilization, and support data-driven decision-making to ensure smooth production execution and continuous operational improvement.

Abilities - Are you a good fit:

  Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing analytics

  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and advanced Excel skills

  • Aerospace, manufacturing, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred

Technical Skills

  Advanced proficiency in:

  • Excel / Google Sheets

  • Data visualization tools (Power Bl, Tableau, etc.)

  • ERP(SAP, Epicor, etc.)

  • Strong data structuring and reporting automation skills

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple compliance streams simultaneously

Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:



Production Planning & Execution

  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, and material availability

  • Analyze and balance constraints across machining, assembly, and secondary operations

  • Identify scheduling risks and implement mitigation actions to support on-time delivery

  • Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans based on real-time operational performance

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze production, capacity, and delivery data to identify trends and performance gaps

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards (capacity utilization, throughput, on-time delivery, WIP)

  • Provide insights and recommendations to operations and leadership teams

  • Support root cause analysis for missed deliveries or inefficiencies

ERP & Systems Ownership (Epicor or equivalent)

  • Act as a functional expert in ERP planning and scheduling modules

  • Maintain data integrity across BOMs, routings, lead times, and work center capacities

  • Partner with IT and operations to improve system utilization and reporting

  • Support system enhancements and process improvements

Capacity Planning & Optimization

  • Support short- and long-term capacity planning across key work centers

  • Align labor, machine capacity, and demand requirements

  • Identify constraints and recommend solutions to improve flow and throughput

  • Support S&OP / IBP processes as needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure plan feasibility

  • Communicate constraints, risks, and recovery plans clearly

  • Support new product introduction through planning alignment

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and lead times

  • Support Operational Excellence initiatives (time studies, process improvements, automation)

  • Drive consistency and standardization in planning practices
