Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Programs to join our team. This position is responsible for directly managing key customer programs while leading a small team Program Managers. The role is hands-on and actively involved in daily program execution, including customer communication, contract and SOW review, schedule alignment, issue resolution, and performance tracking. This position must understand program data, where it comes from, and how it is used to identify risk, support decisions, and drive customer delivery, quality, and profitability objectives. The role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and Finance to support successful program execution.

Abilities - Are you a good fit:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
·         8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment. 
·         5+ years of experience managing customer programs in a manufacturing setting. 
·         Prior experience leading or supervising a small team preferred. 
·         Proven Project Management experience
·         Strong working knowledge of manufacturing data and business inputs across planning, operations, quality, supply chain, and finance. 
·         Strong analytical ability, including understanding where data originates and how to use it to identify issues and drive decisions. 
·         Ability to read and interpret contracts, technical documents, and blueprints. 
·         Working knowledge of aerospace machining, assembly, supply chain, and production processes. 
·         Strong customer management, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
·         Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
·         Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to work successfully with internal and external customers in resolving issues while maintaining
          good working relationships. Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
·         Ability to maintain excellent customer relationships
·         Ability to work at computer workstation for long periods of time, sitting or standing. 
·         Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. 
·         Ability to move about a manufacturing facility.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Responsible and accountable for customer program quality, on-time delivery, and profit/margin performance.
  • Directly manages assigned customer programs from contract review through production and ongoing execution.
  • Leads and supports a team of three Program Managers while remaining actively involved in day-to-day program work.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact with customers for program status, risks, changes, and issue resolution.
  • Leads New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for assigned customers to support schedule attainment and cost targets.
  • Reviews current and proposed contracts, statements of work, and customer requirements to ensure alignment and executable plans.
  • Obtains technical and commercial information from customers to support estimates for new business and works with Estimating to ensure timely submission.
  • Coordinates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning to ensure readiness and execution to customer requirements.
  • Reviews and coordinates customer engineering changes and internal implementation plans.
  • Monitors production schedules, material delivery, supplier commitments, and other business inputs that affect program performance.
  • Analyzes delivery, quality, inventory, margin, and schedule data with a clear understanding of where the data originates and how it impacts the business.
  • Uses ERP/MRP systems, reports, and Excel to monitor program health, investigate issues, and support decision-making.
  • Leads issue resolution related to delivery, commercial matters, customer claims, and internal execution barriers.
  • Monitors inventory levels to ensure they remain within target levels and leads disposition planning for excess inventory.
  • Coordinates customer reporting requirements, readiness reviews, and other program-related updates.
  • Visits customer sites, as needed, to maintain relationships and support business needs.
  • Provides day-to-day direction, coaching, and development for the Program Management team
